New computer for WoW?

It seems that patch 4.0.1 completely breaks WoW on my laptop. Whereas I used to be able to get a decent 12 - 17 FPS all over Outland, I'm now slogging along at 6 or less at all times. Even with all addons removed.

Solution: Build a desktop to play WoW on.

So that will be the plan for after I move on the first. Suggestions for a CHEAP build? I need to go as cheap as possible, although I wouldn't mind if it's upgradeable in the future so I don't get so far behind the curve again.

I suggest you check out this website. They have different lists setup for different price ranges ($400, 500, 600, etc) for PC's.

The site is awesome. They update the lists frequently so you can keep going back. I used it as a reference when I built my current computer.

I actually have that exact system minus the sound card and it's a very nice build.
