Gearing up for raids

Two methods of tracking where you can get gear upgrades:
1. In-game addon:

This addon will show you loot tables from heroics, raids, faction reputation, pvp gear, and crafted weapons and armor. The nice feature it has is a wishlist
Alt-click on any item in the addon to the wishlist, alt-clicking on an item in the wishlist deletes it. There are buttons in the AtlasLoot panel and the loot browser to open the wishlist. An easy way to keep track of where to farm next.

This tool is a little more involved, but I think is a better tool than Atlas Loot, especially if you have 2 monitors. I’ll do a walkthrough for mages to show you how to set your loot lists.
First, you need to tell the tool how to rate the gear. Do you value intellect, strength, stamina? What about combat ratings? Since I don’t play mages, I turn to elitistjerks.com and check out the mage forums:

Ok back to the guildox tool – in the Stat Weights, input the numbers above for Fire, and set everything else to 0:


Click the Filters tab, and set Class to Mage, Armor type to Cloth, Max Items to 15, Gems to Rare, check Reforge bonus, uncheck Force Socket colors, then uncheck all the raid items, crafted gear you are not eligible to use, and valor points, leaving only 5 man/5 man Heroic, quested items, PvP, Arena, BoE, and Justice points:



Hit the View Loot Ranking button.
Load your character to see how your gear compares to the loot ranking:



Click the last icon on the far right to see the upgrades sorted by largest improvement in score:

This is useful in determining which piece of gear to get first.

I spent more time trying to get the damn images to embed than I did writing and editing the screenshots. I have no idea why the pictures aren't displaying. Someone tell me wtf I am doing wrong. I tried using the [img][/img] tag, but it doesnt work, just says Forum Image. Tried disabling the BBCode as well, still nada.
